PRODUCT REVIEW: BioBuilde

As cyclists we are always looking for that competitive edge that will help us improve our performance that last 10%. We focus on our training, equipment, diet, sleep, and recovery. It’s this last category (recovery) that BioBuilde helps the cyclist improve.

BioBuildeI was sent a bottle of BioBuilde to try, and like most of the products that end up on my office door I am a skeptic at heart. I have tried a many different products with minimal improvement if any at all. In fact most supplement products are worthless, and just a huge waste of money. So when I got the BioBuilde I was not holding out much hope that it would have any beneficial effect on my cycling performance.

I was told to take the 5 to 10 BioBuilde tablets before any hard workout or race. After just a few weeks the results were impressive, and left zero doubt that this product works. And works well, really well. I had two different test in mind, the first being a 5 mile time trial hill climb that averages 7%, with a really hard section at the top at 12%. The second test was a sprint triathlon that I had done the year before so I had a very reliable way to review my results.

Test #1: My best time up to this point on the Hill Climb Time Trial (HCTT) was a very disappointing 25 minutes and 25 seconds. After taking the BioBuilde product I was able to climb HCTT in 23 minutes and 3 seconds. I saw a 2 minute and 12 second decrease in my time to the top. Not only that but I was sure that I had a little left in the tank. Usually after a hard ride like that I feel a little sore the next day, but not this time. I had no soreness at all. Very impressed.

Test #2: The sprint triathlon. I had competed in this triathlon in 2006 and had a very solid performance placing in 13th place in my age group. My time was 1:15:15. In 2007 I place in 7th place in my age group with a time of 1:13:21. Almost 2 minutes faster. Wow, a better time with probably less time swimming and running than the year before.

My final impression. BioBuilde works. I am impressed. So much so that I decided to become a dealer and the sell the product right here at Bicycle.net.
