Product Review: CycleSound Bicycle Sound System

In one word, BULLSEYE! This is the product that I have been waiting for:
CycleSound Mounted under seat of tandem
If you have kids, or were ever a kid yourself, do you remember being in the car going somewhere for over an hour and hearing “Are We There Yet”? Well when my wife and I take our three kids on a bike ride down by the Pacific Ocean, that is all we used to hear. But not now.
Tandem with trail-a-bike with trailer
So when I take out our tandem, attach the trail-a-bike, and the RoadGear trailer, we always bring our CycleSound. We put in the kid friendly music and crank it up, and ride, baby, ride. And even if they do start complain at least we can turn the music up louder then them. Oh, the sweet sounds of music.

Let’s get serious now. This product just works great. Crisp sound, deep bass and good volume. It is so easy to install that I had it ready to play music in less than 10 minutes. It is very well made and I have no doubt that it will be working many years from now.

I have even put it on my mountain bike and hit the trails with my CycleSound. The bumps and vibration had no effect on the CycleSound at all.

Bicycle.net is impressed. Now you can take your iPod with you on your bike rides and use it safely. The one accessory I would recommend is the iEZ Click Wireless Remote. It allows you to remotely change what is playing on your iPod.

Have fun, go ride, enjoy your music with the CycleSound.

  1. this is a great sound sound system!!

However I would recomend the iJet remote over the EZ Ckick from Monster. The iJet has all of the features that the Monster remote does accept it is not as bulky and it costs around $20 less. I have even heard that the developers of the Cycle Sounds system are looking at the possiblity of bundeling the iJet remote with their unit or offering it as an accessory.
