This is one cool opportunity to ride like a pro and actually compare yourself to their official race times. Amateur Timed Ride of the Official Stage 5 Amgen Tour of California Time Trial Course
Friday February 22, 2008 starting at 11:15 amYour unique adventure starts at the official Time Trial Chute on the starting line of the Stage 5 Amgen Tour of California where you’ll be sent off the ramp by the ATOC starters, wearing your Official ATOC bib number, racing against the clock to the finish line on Copenhagen Drive.
Top 3 place finishers will receive recognition on the Awards Stage at the conclusion of the Amgen Tour of California Stage 5 Pro race. Participants will also receive a certificate of participation.
Riders should be capable of completing the course at a 20 mph average speed. Those who cannot complete the course in the allotted time may be removed to avoid interference with the professional race.
