Breaking News: Nicki Sørensen in Bad Crash During Training
[11.02 08:34] This Sunday Team CSC’s Nicki Sørensen crashed in Malibu Mountains during the team training camp in California.
The Danish rider suffered a deep cut on the forehead as well as other cuts and bruises to the face. Nicki Sørensen is now recovering from surgery in the hospital in Thousand Oaks. He is expected to be able to travel back to Europe later in the week.

“CSC had a crash on Decker. Sounds quite bad too. I was at Sundance this morning and the coach of the team was there speaking with Ashton about it. It sounded gruesome. Nicki Sorenson got a 14cm gash across his forehead and part of his nose came off. Sick! Jens Voigt was involved too, but it sounds like he’s ok. The coach said that Jens wasn’t going to be 100% for TdC but will be ok for the season.”
