Breaking News: Rock Racing’s squad for the 2008 Amgen Tour of California.

A rumor has made it’s way into the Bicycle.net newsroom this evening and we want to be the first to get it out to our readers. It seems that Michael Ball and his Rock Racing Team may have chosen their squad for the 2008 Amgen Tour of California. Along with five of the euro-expats that have made there way across the Atlantic one name strikes us as interesting, non other than the controversial, tattooed, bad boy of the Southern California cycling scene but Kayle Leogrande.
The very same Kayle Leogrande of Rock Racing that has been under multiple investigations for doping and is currently suing the USADA to prevent the screening of his B urine sample. The staff here at Bicycle.net and our sources in professional cycling can’t imagine the Amgen Tour of California, the UCI, or the USADA allowing such a polarizing figure being allowed to start what is being hailed as the cleanest cycling race in history. We will work hard to bring you the latest news about this story, the Amgen Tour and the cycling world.

For now stayed tuned and it should be noted that this rumor came to us from very reliable sources but it appears that the powers that be at Rock and Republic have been hard at work trying to erase any evidence of the leak.
