CamelBak® Takes on the Bike Bottle

Bikes, helmets, shoes – they all get cooler every year, but the humble bike bottle has stayed pretty much the same.

CamelBak® Products, LLC, building on its successful innovation in the bottle category, has changed all that. We’re introducing the new Podium™ Bottle, featuring a high flow rate, self-sealing squirt valve. Rather than opening and closing a traditional valve, the squeezable Podium™ Bottle allows immediate and no-look sipping or squirting, and the self-sealing valve ensures a splatter-free ride.

This is one bottle you won’t chuck before the sprint.

“We set out to take away the bite-open, hip-slap-shut sequence that riders had to perform with other bottles,” said Jon Austen, Director of Product Management at CamelBak. “Our valve was specifically designed for instant access to a high flow rate, without worrying about splatter on your frame.”

The Podium Bottle is dishwasher safe, and made with CamelBak’s proprietary TruTaste™ material so you taste your beverage, not your bottle. The bottle also incorporates CamelBak’s exclusive HydroGuard™ to help eliminate bacteria.

Key Features of Podium™ Bottle
• Sip or Squirt Valve: The revolutionary valve lets you sip from any direction, or squirt to cool off

  1. I still prefer a Camelbak hydration pack over a carry bottle… yes its something you have to carry on your back but for cycling and hiking its nice to have the extra storage space.
