Established supplements and vitamins brand ZipVit is the latest addition to the Cervélo TestTeam sponsors roster for 2009. The UK / Swiss supplement specialists have developed the new brand Project ZV, aimed at the sports nutrition market, and their bold entry into professional bike racing with the Cervélo TestTeam will perfectly compliment their aspirations in this sector. Project ZV has been developed with the specific aim of powering the team in the 2009 Tour de France and spring Classics. The deal will see ZipVit provide the team with energy and recovery drinks, gels and supplements.

Commenting on the exciting new partnership ZipVit MD Warren Bailey said, “Teaming up with an innovative company such as Cervélo mirrors ZipVit’s company policy of providing cutting edge products. The commercial aspect of the deal was brokered by UK sponsorship and media consultancy Cyclevox. Director Anthony McCrossan added, “Cyclevox is delighted to broker another sponsorship deal for the cycling world. The deal between ZipVit and Cervélo has been 6 months in the making and we feel that the desire to constantly improve and develop, from both parties, will ensure that the tie-up is a great success”.
