Hayden Roulston Signs With Team Cervelo
International cycling newcomers Cervelo have signed up New Zealand’s Hayden Roulston to race for them next year, the Canadian cycle manufacturers announced on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Roulston, who took the silver medal in the individual pursuit race at the Beijing Olympics, competed for Cofidis in 2003 and 2004 and for Discovery Channel in 2006 before concentrating on track.
He will join up at Cervelo with Spain’s Tour de France winner Carlos Sastre, Norwegian sprint champion Thor Hushovd, Britain’s Jeremy Hunt and Ireland’s Philip Deignan.
