Linus Gerdemann Trades Team Columbia For Team Milram, And Columbia Signs Monfort
HIGH ROAD SPORTS AND TEAM COLUMBIA CONFIRMS MONFORT, RELEASES GERDEMANN
San Luis Obispo, CA, 29th October 2008 - High Road Sports, owner and operator of Team Columbia, today confirms that Maxime Monfort (25) of Belgium will join Team Columbia for the 2009 season and announces the release of Linus Gerdemann from his contract, effective October 31, 2008.
Gerdemann’s transfer to Team Milram has been approved by the UCI and is subject to meeting final contract provisions.
“We wish Team Manager Gerry van Gerwen, his athletes and his sponsors great success in their ambitious plans for 2009” says Team Manager Rolf Aldag. “We are very excited about our roster for 2009, which features promising young talent from 17 different countries. Maxime is a great addition to our strong roster and we are pleased he has chosen to join Team Columbia.” Aldag adds.
