Redlands - Darn those junior gears

I just finished racing Redlands stage race yesterday with the pro women! It was so intense racing with all the big teams there. I didnt do so well in the Prolougue due to a major sideache and I blew after 3k, 72nd place. The next day was the road race, I just missed the main pack but because of my junior gears I couldnt hang on to the group on the downhill and ended up in 59th for the day and 58th for GC. The next day was a criterium I worked hard, stayed in the pack and finished in 32nd place for the stage and moved up to 51st in GC. And the last day was the Sunset Circuit Race. The course was amazing, it was either uphill or down hill no flats, I stayed with the 1st group for 7 out of 9 laps, then the pack split. I worked really hard and my legs felt great and finished 19th for the day and that moved me up to 27th overall. I am very please with my performance at my first year racing Redlands. And I sure did learn a lot!
