Okay, so here is the big question. If they can get a robot to ride a bicycle, could they get my 7 year old to ride her bike with no training wheels?

Looks like something Dean Kamen, inventor of the Segway might have invented. Regarding your daughter, I bet Kamen’s gyro-based systems, from Segways to his iBot wheelchairs, would almost eliminate skinned knees for new cyclists. Probably out of most people’s budgets, though.
