MADRID, May 19, 2008 (AFP) – Norway’s Thor Hushovd, riding for Credit Agricole, won Tuesday’s second stage of the Tour of Catalonia, a 167.8km ride from Riudellots de la Selva to Banyoles, to retain the overall lead.

Hushovd also won the opening stage.
