TOSHIBA-Santo Pro Cycling Team presented by Herbalife’s Managing Director Ravi Rajcoomar is excited by his team’s chances at this year’s Twilight and USA CRITS Series. “We have a solid team with threats for victory in every race scenario. We hope to have a little luck on our side on Saturday night in front of our hometown Athens’ fans. The Twilight is one of the team’s favorite’s events, and we can’t wait to race.”

The Athens-based squad is considered by many to be the favorite in the 29th edition of the Twilight this Saturday in Athens, GA. The team has been dominating events this season tallying up 30 wins.
The TOSHIBA boys in red will be gunning for a great result and will have lots of bullets to fire including defending Twilight Winner Mark Hekman , USA CRITS Overall Champion Frank Travieso, USA CRITS Overall runner up Yosvany Falcon, U23 US National Criterium Champion Keith Norris, former Pan Am Road Race Winner John Fredy Parra, former Pan Am Pursuit Champion and 2008 Olympian Carlos Alzate, Vuelta a Valle Winner John Durango, and rounding out the hit squad will be former Australian National Sprint Champion Tommy Nankervis.
The team will face fierce competition from the country’s top professional teams including Calyon, Colavita-Sutter Home, DLP Racing, HealthNet presented by Maxxis, Jelly Belly, Jittery Joes, Kelly Benefits/Medifast, Rock Racing, Team Type 1, and Time Pro Cycling.
The Twilight is the kickoff to the 2008 USA CRITS Series also attracts some of country’s top elite teams including Battley Harley-Davidson, Clinica Union, hometown team Locos Grill and Pub, Metro Volkswagen, Nature’s Path, Sakonnet Technologies, Inferno Racing, Myogenesis, Richmond Pro Cycling fueled by Nature’s Path, and Texas Roadhouse.
