Tour de France Challenger Alejandro Valverde Wins Spanish National Title

MADRID, June 29, 2008 (AFP) - Spain’s Alejandro Valverde, one of the favourites for next month’s Tour de France with the Caisse d’Epargne team, won the Spanish road race national title near Toledo to the south of Madrid on Sunday.
