Team Quick Step will no longer have rider Allan Davis on their roster. Davis salary has become too expensive for Quick Step since sponsor Specialized pulled out to support Team Astana according to Wielerflits. So far it appears that Davis has not found a new team for 2010.
Patrick Lefevere, the team director said yesterday that he is leaving enough room in the budget for Alberto Contador and three teammates of his choosing when the two parties resume talks again 2011.
Merckx bicycles has stepped in to replace Specialized as the bike sponsor of Team Quick Step.
