Aurelien Duval Suspended After Failing A Doping Test
PARIS, Oct 23, 2009 (AFP) – French rider Aurelien Duval of the Francaise des Jeux team was provisionally suspended on Friday by the International Cycling Union (UCI) after failing a drugs test.
Duval tested positive for the banned stimulant norfenfluramine in a urine sample collected during the Circuit Franco-Belge race on October 1.
Duval, 21, can request and attend the analysis of his B sample.
He joined the Francaise des Jeux team in the summer of 2008.
