Brajkovic – Concussion in Tirreno-Adriatico
Team Astana’s Jani Brajkovic crashed in the second stage of the Italian stage race Tirreno-Adriatico. The Slovenian rider landed on his head and suffers from a concussion. He was forced to abandon due to a headache and vertigo. Jani Brajkovic will have to rest for minimum three days, after which he can resume the training. Without unforeseen complications, he will return to competition in the Critérium International (March, 28th-29th).
Andreas Klöden crashed twice in the same stage to Marina di Carrara and suffers from road rashes and bruises on his shoulder and elbow. Klöden can continue the race without major problems
