Written by: Michael Roe

Floyd Landis has crashed just before his first major comeback race. This according to the Tour of California officials at a news conference at which he was to appear.

Despite being stripped of his 2006 Tour de France Yellow Jersey title after testing positive for synthetic testosterone, Landis has never given up the dream of racing in the Professional Peloton. He will get his chance in the 2009 Amgen Tour of California.

Landis has stated that he expects to be able to recover in time to be at the start of the race on February 14th.
The crash gives new meaning to the team that Landis is now racing for – TEAM OUCH!
