Despite a mid-race crash, Geoff Kabush (CAN/Team Maxxis-Rocky Mountain) recovered to earn the just over one minute win a the Yankee Clipper at Windham Mountain, the final race on the USA Cycling Professional Cross Country Tour presented by Sho-air. On the women’s side, Willow Koerber (Asheville, N.C./Subaru-Gary Fisher) pulled off an impressive win ahead of the stacked field at Windham.
With his fifth-place finish at Windham, Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (Boulder, Colo./Subaru-Gary Fisher) locked up the first-ever Pro XCT championship ahead of Sid Taberlay (AUS/Sho-air-Specialized). For the women Catherine Pendrel (CAN/Luna) pulled off the narrow series victory ahead of teammate Georgia Gould (Fort Collins, Colo./Luna).
