KURT KINETIC ROCK & ROLL PRO TRAINER

So let’s admit it, no one really likes to ride their bike indoors, and we only ride indoors when we have to. With that said, some indoor trainers make the exercise not only useful, but more enjoyable. And then there is the Kurt Kinetic Rock & Roll Pro Trainer that brings a little more realism to the indoor workout.

Kurt Kinetic has taken the Indoor Trainer to a new level with the Pro resistance unit attached to their top of the line Rock & Roll. They use a impeller that is coupled to the drive roller with magnets, using no dynamic seals that can fail, thus removing the chance of any fluid leaking. With 80 cooling fins they improve the reliability by keeping the operating temperatures down, and if that is not enough KURT back’s the unit with an unconditional lifetime warranty.

The frame of the Rock & Roll is designed to give you as close to life like road conditions as any indoor trainer can give. When we were working on intervals and getting out of the saddle, we were able to fully see where the KURT shines. You get the ability to feel completely comfortable even while your bike is able to rock from side to side.

We can back up the claims of KURT, and say that the Rock & Roll trainer is about as close to riding your bike outdoors as you can get on a trainer. We do recommend that you get the 12 pound flywheel, the riser ring (which allows your front wheel to rotate side to side), and the Power Computer (just $50.00, but only works with the trainer).

For the rider who is going to be doing a large amount of their training indoors we highly recommend the KURT Kinetic Rock & Roll Pro. It is the best indoor trainer we have ever used. But be aware it is no light weight and makes travel a little difficult.

We rate the KURT Kinetic Rock & Roll Pro 4.5 out of 5 chain rings.
