[24.07 17:25] The Team Saxo Bank-riders were once again ready to go during the 176 kilometer long third stage of the Sachsen Tour International between Aue and Meerane.
The stage was characterized by several attacks and Team Saxo Bank rider Jakob Fuglsang and Dominik Klemme were involved in the pursuing group that hunted the leading solo rider Sinkewitz from the Czech Team PSK Whirlpool – Author.

The German had a huge gap to the main group that engulfed the Fuglsang /Klemme-group and soon after Team Saxo Bank went to the front to minimize his lead.

But nobody was able to prevent Sinkewitz in taking a superb stage victory.
During the stage the German vacuumed most of the points in the mountain and sprint competition and he took over Matti Breschel’s mountain jersey and the jersey symbolizing the leadership of the combined competition.
