[25.06 20:43] Team Saxo Bank took all three places on the podium after today’s Danish championships in time trial held in Sønderborg, Denmark. The riders did 38.5 kilometres on a route that held a few surprises with a couple of hills and a single road of cobblestone.

However, it was no surprise that it was the defending champion, Lars Bak, who did the course in the fastest time. Alex Rasmussen, who could have won if it wasn’t for an unfortunate flat tire, took the silver medal and Jakob Fuglsang showed his skills in the fight against the clock by doing the time trial fast enough to get a bronze medal.

Lars Bak has now won the title three years in a row.
