   I’m old enough to have seen it all before – about 50 years ago. Back then I was trying to work out how to put gears on my single speed, when the trendy thing was to go fixie.

   I’m 56 and I enjoy my fixed gear bike when I team up with 20 mph group on Thursday. 97 Percent of my ride is on bike paths with very few street crossing and hardly no other traffic. The gear setup is just right for me. Very lettle street work.
