AG2R Goes With Dupont

PARIS, May 4, 2010 (AFP) – The French team of AG2R called on Hubert Dupont instead of Slovenian Tadej Valjavec on Tuesday for the Giro, which starts Saturday in Amsterdam.

Valjavec was laid off without delay after the announcement by the International Cycling Union (UCI) that he was accused of doping based on changes in abnormal blood values.

Dupont has ridden the Giro twice before. He race last week in the Tour de Romandie and got 21th in the final classification.
