Alex Rasmussen Took Third Victory This Week

[07.05 17:14] Team Saxo Bank’s Alex Rasmussen conquered his third great victory this week when he out sprinted everyone on a demanding stage in race, Four Days At Dunkerque.

The 189 kilometer long third stage of the French stage race, Four Days At Dunkirk was a hilly stretch from Menin and Ypres where three laps on the dreaded Kemmelberg was on the menu.

Seven riders formed today’s first breakaway which was drained for energy on the demanding stage. Jimmy Engoulvent (Sojasun) was last man standing of the break but as he was caught with two kilometers to go, it all ended in a mass sprint where the Danish sprinter was simply phenomenal.
