Newport Beach, CA February 26, 2010 – The Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team will be united
for the first time beginning March 12th. Following the Bahati Foundation Launch Event, The Pro
Cycling Team will have the opportunity to meet with the press, sponsors and partners throughout
this week-long camp in Agoura Hills, CA. Activities involve sponsor education, team building,
focused training sessions and anti-doping presentations by USADA and coaching staff.
Cannondale Bicycles will sponsor a “VIP Ride” on Sunday, March 14th in Agoura Hills, where all
partners and special guests will have an exclusive opportunity to ride with the 2010 Team. “We’re
very excited about the opportunity to support the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team during its
historic launch,” said Frank Hwang, Global Marketing Director for Cannondale. “It’s going to be a
great team camp and VIP ride, and we’re looking forward to all the amazing work the
Foundation will be doing in 2010.”

Prior to camp, select team members will be performing wind tunnel testing in Fort Collins, CO
with the team’s General Manager and Technical Advisor, Steve Owens. “Working with Rahsaan
(Bahati) and Nathan (O’Neill) will give us the opportunity to explore some creative new theories.
Specifically new ideas surrounding sprinting and time trial positions should provide a competitive
advantage.” Louis Garneau Marketing Director, Pierre Perron added, “We are excited to work
with a top-notch group of athletes that are driven by a social mission. From a technical aspect,
we have an amazing opportunity to further advance the Louis Garneau product line with this
level of expertise integrated into their program”.
