PARIS, April 7, 2010 (AFP) – Norwegian cyclist Edvald Boasson Hagen has withdrawn from Team Sky’s squad for this Sunday’s Paris-Roubaix classic race with an Achilles injury, his team confirmed.

The 22-year-old will take time out to be treated in a bid to recover and win a place in the nine-man team for July’s Tour de France.

Boasson Hagen will be replaced in Team Sky’s line-up by New Zealand’s Greg Henderson and will next race at the Tour de Picardie from May 14-16.
