Hey All!

I’m finally situated back home in Los Angeles. The 4 week European race block was a great success, and I really had the time of my life, and it’s just the beginning!

REVOLUTION UK

Capping off the trip after the Geneva 2 Day and Zurich 6 Day was a one-day race in Manchester, England called the Revolution UK. Some of the top riders in the world come to show what they’ve got against UK’s biggest talents, and I was truly honored to be invited and had a blast.

Each of the Elite teams consisted of 3 men that were formed on a composite team, ours was of Motorpoint Pro Cycling Team. Fortunately enough one of ours was M.I.A. due to sickness, leaving my GB U23 Teammate Mark Christian and I to duke it out with the rest of the teams in the 3-man events, and other races…that hurt. We were definitely feeling worked by the end of the night…but I was pumped to have placed 3rd in the Australian Pursuit behind 6 Day Pro Leif Lampater and SKY ProTour rider Russell Downing, as well as Mark and I taking 3rd in the flying madison kilo TT.

It was a true joy to catch up with the fans and old friends who I haven’t seen in a few years, and had a blast after the races tossing NOW Energy Bars and a pair of Oakley Holbrooks into the crowd. They ate it up!

BURNABY 4 DAY

I’m now going to take these two weeks to prepare for the Burnaby 4 Day race in Canada, where I depart LA the 26th and arrive (hopefully) back home on the 31st. My partner will be new NOW-MS Society Teammate, Colt Peterson. It should be pretty damn hard, with entry list including ProTour riders Svein Tuft and Tyler Farrar…just to name a few.
