The fourth contest on the 2010 USA Cycling National Racing Calendar (NRC), the SRAM Tour of the Gila went off in Silver City, N.M. last week. After taking wins in stage one both Levi Leipheimer (Santa Rosa, Calif./Team Mellow Johnny’s) and Mara Abbott (Boulder, Colo./Peanut Butter & Co Twenty 12) held on to early GC leads to win the overall titles.
Following the fourth National Racing Calendar event Australian Benjamin Day (Fly V Australia) retained a narrow lead in the men’s overall standings.
