By a mutual agreement, Omega Pharma-Lotto and Jean-Christophe Péraud have decided to put an end to their collaboration.

Jean-Christophe had been given by Omega Pharma-Lotto a chance to become a professional road racer, after having shown his capabilities as a mountain biker as well as having been the 2009 French ITT champion.

A heavy crash at Dauphiné Libéré had kept him to confirm during Tour de France the promises show at the beginning of the season, but he has demonstrated during the Vuelta that he can keep his place during multistage races.

He has received a proposal to continue his career with the French team AG2R, and the Omega Pharma-Lotto management did not intend to refrain him.
