Belgian rider Philippe Gilbert won the Tour of Piedmont, raced Thursday at The distance of 194 miles in Cherasco Cossato (northwest).
The world champion, Norway’s Thor Hushovd, who has not raced sincere winning the rainbow jersey on October 3 in Geelong (Australia), crossed the line in the first pack in 14th position.
