LIEGE (Belgium), April 25, 2010 (AFP) – Sylvain Chavanel (Quick Step) suffered a tooth fracture that occurred Sunday after a crash near the finish of Liege-Bastogne-Liege. It was being reported from the medical department of the race after the race had finished .

Chavanel also received facial injuries which required him to be transported to a hospital for further medical tests and exams.

Sylvain Chavanel was not able to finish the race.
