The challenging four-day Italian stage race Giro del Trentino presents a number of opportunities for the BMC Racing Team, said BMC Racing Team Director Sportif John Lelangue.

Mountaintop Finish Friday
The race begins Tuesday with a 12.5 km individual time trial, followed by demanding road races of 172.5 km, 164 km and 174 km, the last of which finishes atop the Alpe di Pampeago on Friday. “This will be a good test for some of the guys like Thomas Frei or a newcomer like Chris Butler or a veteran like Alex Moos,” Lelangue said. “They will have plenty of opportunities, especially since we don’t have one of our big leaders here. It is also good preparation for the guys doing the Tour de Romandie or the Giro d’Italia.”
