MILRAM allrounder Fabian Wegmann makes comeback at general test race for Tour de France

Dortmund, 10. June 2010. Captain Gerald Ciolek will lead Team MILRAM in the chase for stage wins as of this coming Saturday in the Tour de Suisse (June 12-20 / UCI ProTour). The Swiss race will also see the return of allrounder Fabian Wegmann to racing. The winner of „Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt“ was forced to abandon the Giro d’Italia in the eighth stage due to a back problem. In addition to Wegmann and Ciolek, Directeur Sportif Ralf Grabsch can look to Germans Johannes Fröhlinger, Artur Gajek, Dominik Nerz, Matthias Rüß and Björn Schröder, in addition to Austrian Peter Wrolich.

„I am really looking forward to racing again,“ said Fabian Wegmann. „I can’t wait to see how it goes, since I have trained a lot in the last few weeks and after a break like that, you don’t really know where you stand. So I hope that this test for the Tour de France goes well not only for me but for our whole team.“
