Universal Sports is Home to Two of the Three Grand Tours of Cycling—Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España

April 1, 2010—Los Angeles—Universal Sports’ world-class spring cycling coverage continues Monday, April 5, with live coverage of the Tour of Basque Country from Spain. Universal Sports television coverage takes place daily at noon ET (or EDT) starting with stage one on Monday through the final stage on Saturday, April 10. Universal Sports will have live coverage daily at 9:45 a.m. ET at www.universalsports.com/cycling.

Euskaltel’s Samuel Sanchez, last year’s third-place finisher and the reigning Olympic champ, will wear bib No. 1 at the Tour of the Basque Country this Monday. Other headliners include 2009 Vuelta a España champion Alejandro Valverde and three-time Milan-San Remo winner Oscar Freire.
