The Italian Giovanni Visconti (Farnese), has had his place raided as part of the investigation that revolves around the Italian trainer Dr. Michele Ferrari, it has been announced Friday
by the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian agency specializing in anti-doping (NAS) has on Thursday conducted at three different locations, which also involved Diego Caccia and Morris Possoni (Sky).
The newspaper said investigators would seek to establish possible links between Ferrari and the riders.
In recent weeks, the paper recalls, the judicial inquiry Padua coordinated by Roberto Roberti Benedetto has led to several
searches, including the whereabouts of Michele Scarponi (Lampre), one of the candidates for the podium in the next Giro (May 7 to 29).
