Roadrunner Bags – Roll Top Backpack

I have been rolling with the medium roll top backpack for about 2 months now as my go to bag on my 14-mile round-trip commute to and from work. It would be an understatement to say that I abuse this thing, cause in fact I trash it. Why you might ask, well it is not because I don’t like, but because the bag can take it. Like all the products from Roadrunner Bags, my roll top bag is virtually indestructible. It soaks up abuse like a supermodel soaks up free bubbly wine.

Roadrunner bags is a small company, run by a dude named Brad. Handmade, with an incredible amount of attention to the details. The material is top quality and is bomb proof. They are priced well and they offer some dam good options on the bags. Brad also offers other products like a belt wallet and a saddle bag which is also on my commuter bike.

This backpack is fully waterproof with the exception of the open topped front pocket. Your face may get soaked, but at least you can ride easy knowing that your stuff is dry and protected.
The Roll Top comes with a document pocket on the outside. Attached to that are two larger pockets that can hold a 20oz water bottle in each. The bag unrolled extends up to 24? and can roll down to 19?. This bag has a padded backing to it that allows for ventilation; ride faster, sweat harder! The straps are made with heavy duty ripstop nylon with an aesthetically pleasing diamond pattern. The straps include a chest/sternum strap for added stability. One more thing- our straps also have a side release buckle at the end of each; instead of looping your arms through the hole of the strap, you have the option of a quick release buckle. Pretty nice, right?
