SHIMANO and BMC Switzerland are excited to announce that from next season they will join forces in mountainbike racing. Both companies share the same vision on innovation and are aiming for top finishes next seasons. BMC mountainbike racing team will ride their races on SHIMANO’s top range XTR components, wheels and pedals.
BMC mountainbike racing team has a strong team for upcoming seasons. Moritz Milatz is the current European Champion and recently signed Julien Absalon is four times World Champion and two times Olympic Champion. Supported by a mix of experienced and talented riders BMC mountainbike racing team will keep aiming for top finishes.
BMC ROAD RACING TEAM
Besides the partnership with BMC mountainbike racing team, SHIMANO and BMC also strengthen their partnership with BMC road racing team. After riding Dura Ace components for the last two seasons, the cooperation between BMC and Shimano is extended with Shimano wheels meaning that as of 2013 BMC and their riders, including new World Champion Philippe Gilbert, will race Dura Ace 9070 Di2, SHIMANO wheels, pedals and PRO discs.
